Timor-Leste, or East Timor, is one of the youngest nations in Southeast Asia. Known for its rugged mountains and strong sense of community, it is a predominantly Catholic country with a deep spiritual heritage.

However, many remote villages still face poverty and lack access to the Gospel, creating opportunities to bring practical help and share God’s love.

Timor Leste was decimated by the Indonesian occupation and their fight for independence which resulted in thousands being killed and wide spread destruction.
