PHILIPPINES – Clean Water for more Mangyan Communities

Over the past two months, Ps Danny Macuha (MV Philippines) and his team have been busy constructing two water tanks to supply clean water on the island of Mindoro, as ell as new places of worship for remote tribal communities.
Ps Danny reported,
“Praise God for His provision to construct a water tank for clean water projects in two Mangyan communities in Abra de Ilog and Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.
Also, we built a chapel, because the old chapel was destroyed by a typhoon last year.”
He added,
“also we start to construct chapel in new mission work in the Mangyan community.”
All of this has been made possible, not only through the hard work of the local leaders, but also through the generous donations of MotiVate donors like you!
With your support, more than 80 families can enjoy the benefit of clean water, supplied from natural mountain sources.
Until now, communities such as these suffered with water-borne diseases such as cholera – leading to serious illness, and sometimes, tragically, fatalities among young children.
Now, with Easter fast approaching, our national leaders across the Philippines are planning camps, VBS and sports outreach for approx 1,000 youth from churches and communities across Mindoro, Cebu and Mindanao …
These activities have proven to be highly effective in teaching young people about the truth about Jesus from God’s Word – in a fun, safe environment away from wordly distractions.
While the churches are doing what they can to support these precious young people, and enable them to travel to the camp venues, your donation – of any amount – will help greatly towards the cost of meals and accommodation.
