After almost two years of planning and preparation, the new digital broadcast system is now installed and broadcasting over FM across the main island (Tongatapu).

We are so grateful for our partnership with Rhema Media (NZ) and for their generous support – not only in putting the various systems together but in continuing to oversee the technical systems and assist with programming through remote connections. 

Luke Weston (CEO), Michael Brown (Head of Operations) and Skip Parker (Technical Operations Manager) flew over in July to personally install and commission the system, and to meet with Willy Florian  (Station Manager) and the radio hosts to provide some orientation and training.

Now, Tongans living overseas are also able to follow the programmes from the island Kingdom by streaming from the Tonga Christian Radio website.
