OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE
- School ministry
- Youth and children’s ministry
- Teams may also be involved in Indian communities and churches along the coast and larger towns.
- Church services (Fijian & Indian)
- Establish strong on-going relationships with Schools, Churches, villages and communities in Fiji
With 300 Islands and just on 1 million People Fiji has many opportunities for mission teams to be involved serving the Fijian and Indian communities, churches, and schools. We work with churches and schools in a number of locations across the main Island of Viti Levu. This includes villages and schools situated on the banks of the long winding Navua river.
Teams can travel by boat up the Navua River for 3-4 days visiting remote villages participating in Village activities learning culture and having fun with the children. They will also be involved in small village Schools and church programs. Distributing medical supplies to remote interior village medical centres is also an important part of our ministry. It is sometime possible for teams to ravel back down part of the river on bamboo rafts.
