Death is defeated – The King is Alive!

Ask many un-churched people today what they know of the Easter story and they will probably answer either that they don’t know what the story is about, or that they don’t believe it’s true.

Yet, as believers and followers of Jesus Christ we know that the biblical accounts of Jesus’ death and resurrection are 100% true.

Although the prophet Isaiah lived 700 years before Jesus’ birth, he foretold in amazing detail who the Messiah would be and what He would go through for future generations, including us today.

MALAWI – Relief support needed following Cyclone Freddy

UPDATE 30 March 2023:
The death toll has risen to beyond 400, with more than 350,000 displaced – and there is a desperate need for clean water, food and other supplies.

Pastor Moses told us “indeed we are speechless as we see lots of corpses recovered from deep mud. A whole village in another location has perished! We are now on 14 days of nationwide mourning.”

PHILIPPINES – Preparing for Youth Outreach at Easter Camps

MARAMING SALAMAT (thank you very much) for the generous donations that will cover the cost of food and transportation for 300 youth from remote villages to attend this year’s camp on Mindoro island.
Ps Danny writes: “Pray for the youth camp this coming April 6-8. Pray for God’s provision to meet our needs for this camp. Safety of the campers and good weather. Our target campers 300 youth. The theme of this camp is BACK TO WORK and our goal is to challenge our youth to continue in God’s work and renew their commitment to win souls.”

VANUATU – Cyclones Judy and Kevin cause extensive damage

A big TANK YU TUMAS (thank you very much) for the donations that have come in following the major damage to come of the Victory School of Hope classrooms. The Ni-Vanuatu team has worked hard to reframe the buildings and your support has helped to cover the roofing costs.

National Leader Ps Zebedee Tanga wrote to us earlier this week: “Received the funds in good time to help with the roofing iron. Now, 3- 4 classrooms are done. Your help is so much appreciated, that now we can have the full school on again after the cyclone.”

NEW ZEALAND – Tonga Young Adult Leaders’ Retreat

Greetings again from the Island Kingdom of Tonga!

I would like to take this time to thank you for the many prayers and support towards our youth leadership retreat that was held in Auckland, New Zealand, with our speakers John Fergusson and Richard Brunton. That trip was totally an act of faith where we see God’s hand move and work in our midst within these 4 days.

Transformation, deliverance, healing, and restoration took place during this retreat. Our faith has grown, and these young leaders are the future of our country, church, ministry, and community.

I Am About To Do Something New

Greetings again from the Island Kingdom of Tonga, on behalf of the Tonga Christian Radio we would like to wish you a blessed Happy New Year for 2023.

We declare Isaiah 43:19 (NLT) … For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the wasteland.

HOPE Does Not Disappoint!

During the pre-dawn hours of that first Christmas day, people found HOPE again. The heralding angel announced, “I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”

PHILIPPINES – Clean Water for Mangyan Communities

As tropical storms continue to affect the Mindoro province, the need for clean drinking water calls for immediate action.

The tremendous flooding brought about by the storms ravaging the country during the rainy season has caused flash floods, therefore contaminating water used for drinking, cooking and cleaning.

Recently, there has been an outbreak of cholera and other water-borne illnesses due to unsanitary water.
