PHILIPPINES – Devastating Impact of Typhoon Kristine
We are writing to share an update on the devastating impact of Typhoon Kristine and the ongoing rescue efforts in affected areas. The storm has caused severe flooding and destruction, particularly in the Bicol Region, Region 4a (my place) and some part of Luzon.
Entire communities have been submerged, with families displaced and homes destroyed. Mindoro Island was affected some areas are submerged due to heavy rain.
INDIA – Floods hit Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
India is facing one of its most devastating floods in recent history. Torrential rains have submerged entire communities, leaving thousands homeless, without food, clean water, and basic necessities. Families are struggling to survive amidst rising waters, destroyed homes, and the risk of disease.
We urgently need your prayers and support to provide for the church families of MV leaders affected by the flood.
THAILAND – Thai Seminary Students serving in North-East region
MVThailand organised and hosted a team of seminary students from North-Eastern Bible Seminary to serve in MV Amnat Charoen and MV Ubon churches for 2 weeks in their respective communities.
Praise and thank God for Pastors’ Somporn and Kambang, and also the North-Eastern Bible Seminary’s students.
They had a very fruitful and blessed time together…

Death is defeated – The King is Alive!
Ask many un-churched people today what they know of the Easter story and they will probably answer either that they don’t know what the story is about, or that they don’t believe it’s true.
Yet, as believers and followers of Jesus Christ we know that the biblical accounts of Jesus’ death and resurrection are 100% true.
Although the prophet Isaiah lived 700 years before Jesus’ birth, he foretold in amazing detail who the Messiah would be and what He would go through for future generations, including us today.
MALAWI – Relief support needed following Cyclone Freddy
UPDATE 30 March 2023:
The death toll has risen to beyond 400, with more than 350,000 displaced – and there is a desperate need for clean water, food and other supplies.
Pastor Moses told us “indeed we are speechless as we see lots of corpses recovered from deep mud. A whole village in another location has perished! We are now on 14 days of nationwide mourning.”
PHILIPPINES – Preparing for Youth Outreach at Easter Camps
UPDATE 30 MARCH 2023:
MARAMING SALAMAT (thank you very much) for the generous donations that will cover the cost of food and transportation for 300 youth from remote villages to attend this year’s camp on Mindoro island.
Ps Danny writes: “Pray for the youth camp this coming April 6-8. Pray for God’s provision to meet our needs for this camp. Safety of the campers and good weather. Our target campers 300 youth. The theme of this camp is BACK TO WORK and our goal is to challenge our youth to continue in God’s work and renew their commitment to win souls.”
VANUATU – Cyclones Judy and Kevin cause extensive damage
UPDATE 30 MARCH 2023:
A big TANK YU TUMAS (thank you very much) for the donations that have come in following the major damage to come of the Victory School of Hope classrooms. The Ni-Vanuatu team has worked hard to reframe the buildings and your support has helped to cover the roofing costs.
National Leader Ps Zebedee Tanga wrote to us earlier this week: “Received the funds in good time to help with the roofing iron. Now, 3- 4 classrooms are done. Your help is so much appreciated, that now we can have the full school on again after the cyclone.”
THAILAND – 22 baptised at Bang Khan church plant
Praise God that 22 people were baptised in this church recently.
Bang Khan is a district of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand with a population of more than 50,000 people. Most of the people here are Buddhists and animist and earn a living by rubber tapping.
NEW ZEALAND – Tonga Young Adult Leaders’ Retreat
Greetings again from the Island Kingdom of Tonga!
I would like to take this time to thank you for the many prayers and support towards our youth leadership retreat that was held in Auckland, New Zealand, with our speakers John Fergusson and Richard Brunton. That trip was totally an act of faith where we see God’s hand move and work in our midst within these 4 days.
Transformation, deliverance, healing, and restoration took place during this retreat. Our faith has grown, and these young leaders are the future of our country, church, ministry, and community.

PHILIPPINES – Clean Water for Mangyan Communities
As tropical storms continue to affect the Mindoro province, the need for clean drinking water calls for immediate action.
The tremendous flooding brought about by the storms ravaging the country during the rainy season has caused flash floods, therefore contaminating water used for drinking, cooking and cleaning.
Recently, there has been an outbreak of cholera and other water-borne illnesses due to unsanitary water.
